Welcome to The Crop House; your scrapbooking, quilting, and crafting retreat! The Crop House opened in August of 2018. The Crop House may also be rented for a girls weekend or for a family getaway.
The Crop House is in Newaygo, Michigan, just north of Grand Rapids. We are on a hill that overlooks Hess Lake. The town of Newaygo in only a few minutes away where you can find restaurants, a brewery, a quilt shop, grocery stores and most anything you may need.
We hope that you will enjoy The Crop House as much as we have loved making this dream a reality. We designed this retreat to be comfortable and relaxing so that you may recharge while you spend time with your friends, make new ones and craft your heart out.
The Crop House will comfortably accommodate eight (8) scrapbookers or quilters. If you don’t mind being more cozy, there are a total of five (5) bedrooms that will sleep 10 to 11 people. There are a number of amenities included from a large kitchen, to a recreation room with pool table and TV, as well as a patio/deck with tables for outdoor dining and a hot tub for relaxing.
The craft areas feature 5-foot tables which will be set up in two connected rooms. There are rolling desk chairs, ample lighting, extension cords, and plugs with USB ports available. Check out our photo gallery to see everything and more.
